The $40 million 130,000-SF Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) Sherwood Middle School serves 900 public school students in grades 5 and 6. The new model school facility was safely constructed under budget and opened one semester ahead of the originally planned opening. After occupancy of the new school, the old school was demolished, followed by construction of access roadways, parking, and a baseball field.
