Overview
The forecasted growth of the Region of Peel in southeast Ontario by ~2.94 million residents or a 40 percent increase in population by 2041 illustrated the need for a wastewater treatment plant that would support the expanding population and be executed according to best practices. The $800 million G.E. Booth WWTP expansion and upgrade project plans to meet a 20-year projected average daily flow of 515 ML/d.
PMA Role
PMA acted as a constructability subject matter expert during the Phase 3 value engineering review. As a subcontractor, PMA provided recommendations for the work performed to be done in a sustainable and financially responsible manner.
