This approximately $89.5 million high profile project was part of the State of New York’s $100 million plan to make improvements to the lake shore area where the new amphitheater was to be built and to the nearby village of Solvay and town of Geddes. The complex includes an amphitheater with approximately 17,500 covered and lawn seats, a vendor area, recreational trails, an observation pier, a small outdoor theater, and various other amenities.
Overview
PMA Role
PMA provided project scheduling services for the Onondaga Lake Amphitheater/Performing Arts Center. PMA assisted the design/build contractor with planning and also pursued aggressive dates to subcontractors to complete piling and foundations for the start of structural steel. This allowed the project to stay on track with the planned completion date.
