MTA Bridges & Tunnels sought a team of construction consulting and inspection professionals to provide various services for the construction of improvements made to the 125th Street Manhattan approach ramps. The ramps, located near the previously rehabilitated Harlem River Lift Span, provide vehicle and pedestrian access to and from Manhattan.

PMA Role
PMA provided construction administration and inspection services of the 125th Street Manhattan approach ramps. Scope included providing schedule support by reviewing the subconsultant’s baseline schedule, supporting the decision to approve the baseline schedule, analyzing monthly schedule updates from the contractor and deviations from the plan, and evaluating earned value. PMA provided schedule reviews on an ongoing basis throughout the project and also provided claims support services.
