The $50 million Miami Dade College capital facility program consists of multiple campus renovations, remodeling, and new construction. The projects are located over nine Miami Dade College campuses and encompass standalone buildings, central utility plants, cafeterias, and parking garages. The scope also includes replacing electrical switchgear and distribution systems, along with dozens of air handling units, variable air volume boxes, controls, exhaust fans, gas boilers, and electrical generators.
PMA provides project controls services that include estimating, scheduling, and project management support. PMA has provided cost estimates for more than 25 projects and has provided facility condition assessments, life-cycle cost analyses, conceptual and design phase cost estimating, GMP analysis and negotiations, and scheduling.
