The $28 million John E. Polk Correctional Facility is a two-story, 120,000-SF expansion to include a 512 bed inmate housing dormitory, laundry and kitchen renovations, an administrative area renovation, a central energy plant expansion, and a new intake/release and sally port area. PMA serves as owner’s representative for this capital expansion program.

PMA Role
As the owner’s representative, PMA provided cost estimating, cost control, schedule control, value engineering and analysis, construction administration, and contract administration for the entire acquisition plan at the complex. PMA coordinated with the architect on pay requests, milestone inspections, requests for information, change orders, and directives.
