The Great Hall Project is one of City and County of Denver Department of Aviation’s Denver International Airport (DEN) capital improvement projects that will help the airport prepare for the future by enhancing security, improving operational efficiency and increasing capacity of the Jeppesen terminal. DEN, which has recently been ranked among the top airports in the nation, is redeveloping the majority of the 1,500,000-SF Great Hall, known as the Jeppesen Terminal and/or the main terminal. This effort requires, at a minimum, a LEED-Gold level; these requirements are addressed in the design and will be incorporated during construction.

PMA Role
PMA provides owner’s representative services on behalf of DEN for the Central Monitoring Facility (CMF) relocation and the new TSA security screening checkpoint. PMA will also provide design and construction project management services for the airline relocations that are required to enable the construction of the new security checkpoint. PMA reviews design documents and provides design coordination between airport operations, stakeholders, and the engineering team. We also coordinate comment resolution for design-related submittals. PMA supports the construction team with reviewing contractor requests for information, material submittal reviews, commissioning activity coordination, and area punch walks to support turnover activities.
