This $134 million school construction project represents the creation of a new school district and the merger of the North Shore Technical High School with the Essex Agricultural School. The project encompasses 335,000-SF in the new main building and an additional 40,000-SF of farmstead and outbuilding additions.

PMA Role
PMA provided comprehensive owner’s project management services, including architect and construction manager (CM) procurements, owner testing services procurements, scheduling and cost estimating, and weekly and monthly designer/CM/owner/MSBA/DCAM programming and management meetings. PMA acted as liaison between the district/new school and all other parties. This project was awarded the 2015 K-12 Education Award of Merit by ENR New England and the 2015 New Construction Project of the Year Award by CMAA New England.
