Overview
PMA Role
PMA was tasked with oversight and delivery of a durable, economical, and efficient new school building, while minimizing cost impact to the town. The PMA team was able to leverage its cost management experience to help establish a cost per square foot for the Carver Elementary School Building Project that was lower than any other school in the same phase within the MSBA pipeline. PMA provided comprehensive owner’s project management (OPM) services for the feasibility, design, construction, and closeout phases of the project. OPM services on this project included procurement of the architect, general contractor, trade contractors, and all vendors. Additional services included design oversight, schedule control, cost control, and quality assurance through project completion and closeout. PMA was able to deliver a project that is both below the cost per square foot target and significantly below the district’s approved budget.
