This $77.5 million CMAA and ENR award-winning project included the renovation of approximately 130,000 SF of public space within this multistory municipal library facility, including upgrades to building electrical and HVAC systems, entrances, and lobby; the children’s library and the young adults’ library; Rabb Auditorium; meeting and assembly spaces; training and education spaces; street-level retail and food service space; television studio tenant space; and exterior sitework around the perimeter of the building.

PMA Role
PMA provided comprehensive owner’s project management (OPM) services in conjunction with the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department. The OPM team was involved from day one in managing all design, procurement, and construction phases, as well as through furnishing, re-occupancy, and opening.
