Summarizing Detailed P6 Schedules for Graphical Display

Over the years, detailed P6 schedules have grown to thousands of activities. For non-scheduling experts, these schedules are not intelligible. Although it is possible to create a vertically integrated summary schedule in P6, some logical fidelity may be lost. Viewing intermediate schedule levels between level three detailed schedules and Level one summary would involve additional work in P6. PMA has been working on generating continuously variable vertically integrated graphical representations of detailed P6 schedules in our innovation group. The presentation will cover the challenge of summarizing logic and graphically displaying multiple levels of schedule detail.

Project Summit makes it easy for project managers and schedulers to maintain multiple schedules for different levels of detail. It solves a significant flaw in construction scheduling software for summarizing extensive and detailed schedules and synchronizing multiple schedules.
