Scott Worth

, Plymouth

What current project(s) are you working on?

I am currently working for the Great Lakes Water Authority on a wide range of different projects. In college, I never would have thought of wastewater as glamorous, but I am blessed to have been able to raise a large family and grow my career working on some impressive wastewater infrastructure projects.

What are you passionate about and how do you pursue that passion at PMA?

I’m passionate about pursuing a servant mentality towards all I do and putting the needs of others first. PMA has helped form that passion both by providing an opportunity to work on public works projects that have a real, long-lasting, and positive impact on my community and by providing opportunities to serve clients and co-workers alike.

What is your career highlight so far?

PMA has provided me with the opportunity to work on several projects that make a significant long-term impact on various communities they serve. For example, working on Little Caesars Arena and the Detroit International Riverfront are projects that have the potential to change perceptions of the City of Detroit and lay the foundation for the city to continue its renewed image and growth.

Who/what inspires you to push yourself?

I am most inspired by my faith and my family. Both drive my personal growth and motivate me to be more attentive to others.

What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA? Or Share your impressions of PMA’s culture.

PMA’s unique blend of services gives you the opportunity to find your niche, develop your core strengths, and expand your abilities as you gain confidence while naturally growing your career.

What is something new or innovative happening in your industry?

With increasing demands and project roles, PMA’s innovations, such as NetPoint and Project Summit, are a game-changer. These tools allow schedulers and project managers to save time and summarize highly customized stories in a single-page, comprehensible picture.

What university or college did you graduate from?

I graduated from the University of Michigan, with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and earned my master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University.

What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?

Wherever my family is, especially when we are unplugged and walking in one of southeast Michigan’s state parks or metroparks.

Fun Fact!

My wife, Nichole, and I have been blessed with seven children. The journey of raising all of them is truly amazing, with each one taking their own individual path.
