What are you passionate about and how do you pursue that passion at PMA?
I am passionate about driving excellence in projects through effective project management strategies. Additionally, I have an entrepreneurial spirit, and at PMA, I have the opportunity to grow and utilize my skills in this regard. At PMA, I pursue this passion by collaborating closely with our clients to streamline processes, optimize resources, and ensure timely project delivery. Leveraging our expertise in project management consulting, we strive to exceed client expectations and drive success in every industrial construction endeavor.
What current project(s) are you working on?
I am currently working on several projects at the San Jose RWF (Regional Wastewater Facility), with one of the most exciting being the Digested Sludge Dewatering project. This initiative aims to transform the facility’s operations by implementing an enclosed mechanical dewatering process. Expected to be operational by 2025, this project will play a crucial role in freeing up 750 acres of San José-Santa Clara Regional land for alternative uses, reducing odors in the community, and ensuring compliance with new organic waste regulations.
Who/what inspires you to push yourself? (Personal heroes, family members, ideas)
My family has always been my greatest source of support, providing unwavering encouragement that motivates me to continuously push beyond my limits. Alongside their influence, I draw inspiration from visionary leaders and innovative ideas that challenge conventional thinking and foster positive change in the world. Moreover, I find inspiration from within myself, as understanding my desires, skills, and abilities empowers me to strive for excellence. Self-awareness serves as a compass guiding me towards my goals and aspirations, making it a constant and invaluable source of inspiration.
What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA? Or Share your impressions of PMA’s culture.
At PMA, one of the most rewarding aspects is the opportunity to engage directly with clients. The company fosters an environment where I can leverage my creativity and problem-solving skills to provide tailored solutions while receiving guidance and support from our leadership team. It’s empowering to know that I have the autonomy to interact with clients independently while having the reassurance that my leaders are there to support me. At PMA, I’ve found a unique opportunity to cultivate my entrepreneurial skills while remaining an integral part of the company’s growth. The company actively supports and nurtures my aspirations to innovate and take initiative, allowing me to explore entrepreneurial endeavors within the framework of our organization. What is something innovative happening in your industry that makes you excited about the future?
The increasing integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies is exciting. These innovations have the potential to revolutionize how we approach problem-solving and decision-making, leading to more efficient processes and better outcomes for our clients.
What university or college did you graduate from?
I earned a bachelor of science in electronic engineering from the University of Azad, Tehran, in 2006.
What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?
My favorite local establishment is the Bay Club, conveniently located near my apartment. It’s more than just a gym for me; it’s a hub for socializing, meeting new people, and participating in various activities. I particularly enjoy playing tennis and being part of the cycling team, attending social events, making it a perfect spot for both fitness and fun.
Provide a fun fact or secret talent about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I love getting involved in volunteer work and being active in the community. Whether it’s lending a helping hand at local events or participating in community initiatives, giving back is something that brings me joy and fulfillment. Additionally, I have a passion for sports and art. I’m always eager to try new sports and challenge myself to learn new skills. Setting goals in sports motivates me to push myself beyond my limits and achieve personal growth. On the artistic side, I’ve discovered a love for painting a few years ago. It’s become my sanctuary for creative expression, allowing me to unleash my imagination and immerse myself in the joy of creating without any boundaries holding me back
