Q&A with our People

Jacob Biscamp

, Houston

What are you passionate about and how do you pursue that passion at PMA?

I strive to leave a legacy behind and leave a positive mark on the world. I feel like in my current role at PMA I will be able to follow that goal through the projects that I take part in.

What current project(s) are you working on?

I am currently an Assistant Project Manager for United Airlines Catering Ops New Facility Project, and Catering Ops Tenant Improvement Project. I assist PM Matt Helner with the Catering Ops New Facility, while acting as a first point of contact for a major vendor when they want to propose a tenant improvement project during the process of the New Facility project.

Who/what inspires you to push yourself? (Personal heroes, family members, ideas)

I come from a small town, and I strive to stand out and make a name for myself. I also enjoy making new connections, and the more successful I am, the more I will be able to expand that social web.

What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA? Or Share your impressions of PMA’s culture.

PMA has a certain atmosphere that I find extremely welcoming and enjoyable. It is an atmosphere that ensures that people feel welcome. At PMA you feel less of a robot and more of a member of the family.

What is something innovative happening in your industry that makes you excited about the future?

The mere advancement of technology excites me. New technology means new ways of achieving certain goals. This makes everyone’s methods more custom tailored to themselves.

What university or college did you graduate from?

I earned my bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 2021.

What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?

My favorite restaurant in Houston so far is Fogo de Chão. It is a fantastic experience to take the family out to experience some amazing flavors.
