What are you passionate about and how do you pursue that passion at PMA?

I enjoy using information gathered by the project managers to investigate the root cause of project delays. This helps me provide a more accurate forecast for the project. Having reliable tools such as NetPoint helps me predict project outcomes and offers great insight during my investigative work.

What current project(s) are you working on?

Currently, I am providing projects controls services for the Capital Excellence team of CASCNA (Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain of North America). The Capital Excellence team is managing 80+ projects that are spread throughout the US and Canada. We are helping the Capital Excellence team by creating individual schedules for 35 projects as well as providing them Power BI dashboards to help them view the status of the projects more efficiently.

Who/what inspires you to push yourself? (Personal heroes, family members, ideas)

All my superiors at PMA inspire me to do my best with their dedication, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Not only do I admire these qualities, but I apply them to my work ethic as well.

What are the most positive aspects of working at PMA? Or Share your impressions of PMA’s culture.

At PMA, you are given the trust and support to pave your own career path by listening to and implementing new ideas, which allows you to lead your own projects and tasks and grow long-lasting client relationships. Another great aspect of working at PMA is the encouragement to continuously expand your knowledge and skills. PMA helps give you access to resources necessary to grow your career and yourself as a professional.

What is something innovative happening in your industry that makes you excited about the future?

An innovation that gets me excited is being able to add a schedule into a 3D model through BIM, which helps to control the design schedule, and possibly create a 3D animation of how the project would be built over time. During this process, anyone can choose a specific date in the project and see what should have been completed by that date.

What university or college did you graduate from?

I earned my bachelor’s degree in civil & environmental engineering from the University of Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE, and my master’s degree in civil engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

What is your favorite local establishment/feature (restaurant, museum, stadium, etc.)?

My favorite place to go for fun is Topgolf at Great Lakes Crossings in Auburn Hills. In addition, some of my favorite restaurants are Sheeba, Khalaf Grill, and Supino’s Pizza.
